ACTIVITIES OF THE SAPERE PROGRAM, PHILOSOPHY FOR
CHILDREN P4C ARE CONTINUED

After a series of trainings aimed at developing the techniques of the SAPERE P4C Philosophy for Children program, the first certified group of SAPERE trainers, teachers from BiH secondary schools, in period from January 22-23, 2020 worked on enquiry simulations. All participants prepared one session each with a carefully selected stimulus that resulted fruitful dialogues. The goal of enquiry simulations is to develop and refine techniques and methodologies for facilitators. Through the roles of facilitators and participants, all present participants contributed to the realization of 11 dialogues. It is especially important to discuss the techniques of facilitators' work in order to improve the ability of trainer to conduct good dialogue. For this reason, everyone was tasked with monitoring and evaluating the conducted performance of the facilitator session, and recorded a part of the enquiry, in order to summarize the ratings, comments on the session, and listen the session again, which is actually a great insight into the analysis and processing of each session.
The TPO Foundation, in collaboration with SAPERE (Society for the Advancement of Philosophical Inquiry and Reflection in Education) of England, will continue to work on developing techniques of Sapere program in the coming period.
